About us
Finleys Families CIC is run by Sue and Sian. It started as a small idea which eventually turned into a pop-up play group that offered families a friendly chat, support and advice.
In March 2024, Finleys Families CIC had it's official opening in it's brand new, permanent home; the South Ribble Family Wellbeing Centre. This allowed more families from the community to join our growing family, enjoy our fantastic facilities and receive help and support from our team and other professionals.
Moving into a bigger space also meant we were able to double in staff! We received funding for our play worker Jess and our front of house Michelle.
Our aim is to support families in the communities, lend an ear if anyone needs a chat and signpost to other services when needed. We are not here to overlap existing services offered by professionals but hope to work in partnership with them.

Has amazing facilities for the community to use such as; laundry room, shower, one-to-one room, fully equipped kitchen and play space.
Finleys Families CIC has access to Tippy Toes baby bank.
Tippy Toes Baby Bank
Supports families in and around Lancashire who are in urgent need of baby essentials.
Our future
We hope to be a safe space for families in and around the community. We want to ensure no family feels alone or struggles during their parenting journey and provide support when it is needed.
As well as delivering fun and engaging play sessions, we hope to provide baby massage sessions, perinatal and postnatal information sessions, funded and part funded douala service and lots more!
Hire our space
Our fantastic premises is available for private hire Saturdays and Sundays!
If you have an event coming up such as;
-infant/toddler birthday
-baby shower
-gender reveal
-or if you are an existing group (such as a support group) that needs space for families to meet up
... then Finleys Families CIC is perfect!
We believe ALL families should be able to celebrate special occasions. Therefore, to hire our amazing space, we ask for a donation that is affordable to YOU!
The suggested donation amount is £25 for 2 hours of exclusive venue hire. However, our price is flexible!
For an extra set fee, we can set up the room for you with a theme, please contact us for more information.
